Laravel AWS S3 Multipart Upload
Production-ready Laravel implementation for secure AWS S3 multipart uploads using presigned URLs and CloudFront.
Project Overview
Laravel AWS S3 Multipart Upload is an open-source engineering project demonstrating secure, scalable, and production-ready large file uploads using AWS S3 Multipart Upload APIs. The project focuses on handling large media files efficiently while providing upload progress, retry mechanisms, and CloudFront-ready architecture.
The project was designed as a reusable Laravel reference implementation for enterprise applications requiring secure uploads of large files. It demonstrates AWS best practices including presigned URLs, multipart uploads, chunk management, upload progress tracking, and clean Laravel architecture.

The Challenge
Uploading large media files directly through the application server can lead to performance bottlenecks, timeouts, and scalability issues. The objective was to build a secure upload workflow that minimizes server load while supporting large files and production environments.
My Solution
Built a production-ready Laravel implementation using AWS S3 Multipart Upload with presigned URLs. The project uploads files directly to S3, minimizing application server usage while supporting retry logic, upload progress tracking, and CloudFront delivery.
